INSTRUCTION TO APPLY

1. Name of Business/Person: Fill in the name of the business/Person according to official documents.

BASIC LICENCE PROCEDURE

  • Submission of application to the food and Safety Department.

  • The application shall be submitted in Form A.

  • The application for registration may be accepted, or it may be rejected by the Department.

  • If the application is accepted or rejected will be conveyed within 7 days from the date of submission of the application by the Department.

  • The certificate of registration granted by the Department after accepting the application contains the registration number and photo of the applicant.

  • The Food Business Operators should display the certificate of registration at the place of business.

    • STATE FSSAI PROCEDURE

  • The Food Business Operator makes an application to the Licensing Authority.

  • This License application is made in Form B.

  • The application should contain an affidavit,self-declaration, and Annexure as applicable.

  • This license is granted for a period of 1 to 5 years based on the time limit food business operator.

  • Higher the period for which license is obtained the higher would be the application fees.

  • The license can be renewed by making an application.

  • The application for FSSAI license renewal should be made no later than 30 days prior to the expiry of the License.
